We are currently seeking a Finance/Accounting Graduate to join our Head Office team in Brisbane. Based in our Newstead office (relocating to Murarrie in June 2027), this is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in finance and accounting while developing your career within a growing and diverse organisation.
Reporting to an experienced and supportive Financial Controller, you will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of finance functions and develop the skills needed for a successful career in accounting and finance.
Key Responsibilities
Initially, you will work within the Head Office finance team, gaining experience in:
- Month-end accounting and reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
- Half-year and year-end audit processes
- Accounts payable, including purchase order matching, invoice processing, and payments
- Processing fortnightly payrolls
- Accounts receivable functions, including cash receipting and customer account reconciliations
- Administration and maintenance of the expense management system
After approximately 6-9 months, you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience by supporting our Management Accountants across the business units.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have recently completed, or be nearing completion of, a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Be safety-focused and committed to maintaining high standards
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and growth mindset
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
