ICT Manager

About the Role

We seek an IT and e-Commerce manager to provide support to Riverside Marine's Group of Companies by overseeing IT systems. The ideal candidate should bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for optimising digital solutions to enhance our business processes.

Role Description

This role will require a forward-thinking individual with the skills to:

• facilitate the delivery of business improvement projects
• oversee the governance of our hardware both onshore and on our vessels
• work with our outsourced IT services provider to facilitate ongoing reviews of our cyber security preparedness and overall system integrity
• provide hands on practical support to our HQ and Chairman’s offices

Collaboration and Communication

• Experience in providing customer service and strong stakeholder engagement
• Engagement with Senior Management, Business Unit Management, Operational and Administration staff

Reporting

Reports to: Chief Finance and Administration Officer

Reporting in: 3^rd party IT services provider

Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Management - effectively deal with the internal business units and our external IT suppliers
• Manage our outsourced IT services provider
• Ensure we are maximizing the potential of our various software applications
• Developing and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
• Co-ordinate and / or manage IT related business improvement and system upgrade projects
• Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
• Provide technical advice and support to all HQ as well as various business units using training manuals, workflows, capability assessment etc
• Manage, and escalate as necessary, significant IT issues with or on behalf of the Businesses

Essential Competencies and Characteristics

• Exposure to strategic planning and executive engagement covering IT Infrastructure, Business Applications and e-Commerce
• 5+ Years' Experience in deploying IT business systems
• Have prior experience in managing to an approved budget
• Proficient in all Microsoft environments
• Experience with iOS, web/mobile technologies and emerging trends
• An understanding of available AI and its benefits in business
• A service orientated mindset

Required Qualifications and Training

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology
• Experience in e-Commerce deployments looked on favorably
• Good knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/ software systems
• Relationship Management
