With operations across Australia, are are currently looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Townsville. You will oversee the operational management of the Magnetic Island Ferries and Riverside Oceanic fleets, ensuring that the business provides a safe and reliable service that exceeds our customers' expectations.
This is a great opportunity, which will see you:
- as the Designated Person Ashore (DPA) for the fleets
- ensuring the safety of all staff, crew and vessels
- leading the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- providing operational, technical and engineering advice to leaders
- supporting vessel crews on operations
You will hold a Marine Qualification - Master or Engineer, and:
- be safety focused
- possess a growth mindset
- have strong written and verbal communication skills
- work well both autonomously and in a collaborative team environment
- be a qualified Lead Auditor (safety management systems)
- hold or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
